Join us for a one afternoon Mixing Workshop, designed to help you master the fundamentals of mixing, whether you are a beginner or looking to refine your existing skills. Led by an experienced mixing engineer, you will explore key concepts like gain staging, signal path/signal flow, EQ, compression, saturation and mix bus concepts. Learning how to shape your tracks for a polished, professional sound, with practical demonstrations and time to discuss ideas and questions. Perfect for aspiring mixing engineers, producers and audio enthusiasts.

Instructor:

The workshop is conducted by José Diogo Neves – from Porto, Portugal and based in Tallinn, Estonia – a Multi-Award Winning, Gold & Platinum Awarded Mixing & Mastering Engineer who has successfully transcended genres through working with a diverse array of artists, including Grammy & Latin Grammy award winning and nominated artists. Currently José is a Music Technology & Recording Arts Lecturer and the Coordinator & Curriculum Coordinator for the Micro-Degree in Music Production & Songwriting at the Eesti Muusika- ja Teatriakadeemia (Estonian Academy of Music & Theatre), in Tallinn, Estonia. José has given numerous workshops and masterclasses in different Universities and institutions around the world. Most recently José was a Guest Lecturer at Tweed Recording Audio Production School in Athens, Atlanta, USA, at Colorado State University Pueblo, Pueblo, Colorado, USA, at CPM – Music Institute, Milan, Italy and at TAI Escuela Universitaria de Artes (TAI University of Arts), Madrid, Spain. José has also been an Adjunct Lecturer in the School of Communication at The University of Southern Mississippi, in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, USA, in 2020.
