After six albums as a leader - among which four of them are signed in the prestigious label Fresh Sound New Talent – Frederic is also a present co-leader of the pianoless quartet 'Lucky Dog' (Borey-Loustalot-Zelnik- Pasqua), the organ trio setting 'Unitrio' (Argentiéri-Borey-Tissot), the guitar-sax-piano trio '3 Elements' (Felberbaum-Borey-Montana), and a very active sideman, playing with such great musicians as : Lionel Loueke, Jesse Van Ruller, Jerry Bergonzi, Billy Cobham, Zool Fleischer-Denis Leloup, Charlier-Sourisse Multiquarium big band, Bireli Lagrène, Michel Legrand big band ...As a leader, he feels now the necessary of expressing himself in a Trio formation with, actually, one of the most demand rhythm section Damien Varaillon (acoustic bass) and Stephane Adsuar (drums), a very attentive, dynamic and sensitive pair of musicians.

Frederic describes his new band as 'acrobatic', boucing through a jazz standards repertoire, a timeless musical source, to personal compositions, where his style of writing has already been honored by the jazz press from his several precedent projects as a leader.
